I see I haven’t updated for a while.  I reached kid number 30 and Queen found a new mate – Hans, a blond, bespectacled businessman and I think she’s either had another or become pregant to him.

But, having got halfway, I’m rather bored with it all.  There are other more interesting families in other neighbourhoods – not to mention two neighbourhoods I haven’t even played.

I did play Strangetown recently but after playing 3 Sim days the game crashed and I lost it all.  Things like that are a bit offputting – you don’t feel like repeating the whole thing so you go and do something else.

So this was a failed challenge, sorry.  I think I might kill off most of the 30 kids and their dads and maybe transfer one or two to new neighbourhoods.

This family has been a bit slower to update about as I’ve been busy with other things (other families, other games, etc).

Queen’s first child by Flee Zing, Ventsin, grew to school age.

He actually got a birthday party.

The second child, a girl called Ventsees, grew to a toddler (and is now school age but I don’t have a pic).

Queen had twins after that – two girls called Ventsette and Ventweet.  She’s pregnant with another kid (or maybe another set of twins – get it over with).

The twins are now toddlers.

The second twin took forever to grow up while the parents starved and got no sleep.

The other four families of Queen’s kids are growing up.  Once they’re all adults, I’ll take pics and select who remains…

Queen’s next victim was Chinese cop, Flee Zing.  I don’t have a pic it seems.  Queen’s pregnant with her second child but her first is a boy called Ventsin, now a toddler.

It’s been a while since I posted.  I’ve played the Queen and family but by the time it comes to blogging with pics, I forget who’s in the pic!

So anyway, the family of six is complete and moved out.  From the eldest – Nijteen (who went blonde):

Ventuno and Vandeux were the only twins in this family.

They were the first set of twins ever, since I started playing Sims 2, that interacted with one another.  Vandeux stole her brother’s milk:

That was pretty cool.

Vandeux and Twentig didn’t get on very well.

The fifth kid was Ventitray(?).  I’ve forgotten what I called her.  She wasn’t so well looked after.  She cried a lot so got left outside.

The last baby was yet another girl called Vancartre.  She grew to a toddler before they all moved out.

Queen’s getting a little fat.  She might need to lose weight to attract Victim number five.

The dog was adopted out before Queen gave birth to her first child to Wayne.  I don’t appear to have taken pics of Queen’s nineteenth kid as a toddler.  It was a girl called Nijteen.  It was much easier just having one child to look after. 

Queen got pregnant with the 20th kid when Nijteen was a toddler.  So by the time Nijteen was school age, the twentieth, a boy called Twentig, was a toddler.

The kids got more attention.

Queen even invited David and a couple of the boys round when Wayne was at work.  David was happy to see her but Neuf wasn’t impressed.

She totally ignored the younger boy visiting – Zwolf.

Queen next had twins, a boy and girl called Ventuno and Vandeux.

Dicette was visiting in this pic.

Wayne got a couple of promotions so there was money to extend the house even more.

Only two kids to go already.  This family has been a breeze so far.

Getting another worker bee didn’t take long at all.  Queen had got to know Wayne and invited him round the same day that Edison and the kids moved out.  Mark, now an elder, popped by too.  It took a bit of persuasion for Wayne to stay on, and Mark slapped Queen for flirting.

Mark got over it and went fishing behind them.

But it didn’t take long for Queen to get her way.  Wayne agreed to move in. 

He brought with him a much needed 10,000 simoleans.  With the money I made some changes to the baby room.  I added a wing to the house and made a separate room for each of 3 cots so a screaming child doesn’t wake the others.

I still had to get Queen happy enough to take some elixir.  I bought musical instruments (which I sold again) and her latest want was to have a pet.  So a dog, Cimmorial? arrived.

Wayne and Cimmorial made themselves at home.

I don’t particularly want a dog to contribute to the chaos to come - so will give it up for adoption.  But it was enough to get Queen happy enough to take lots of elixir and grow younger.

Queen is already pregnant with child number 19. 

As I progress through this challenge I might refine things, like making the kids wear distinctive clothes so I can tell who’s who when I look back on the photo!  I usually don’t bother changing their hairstyles but that might be handy as well.

Where to start?  Well I guess with the older twins growing up – Treize and Fjorten.

You can see there was no time to water the money tree so it died.

The younger twins grew to toddlers.

I’m not sure who these two are but it serves to illustrate the neglect and chaos.

I think that’s Sez.  Queen’s two sets of twins looked the same – one black and one white and all boys.  Queen’s pregnant with number 5 here, I think.  She finally had a girl – Dicette.

The toddlers in turn grew to school age.

Naturally none of them grow up well.  It’s difficult enough to keep the parents fed and getting enough sleep, let alone paying attention to the kids.

Dicette grew to toddlerhood.

I could have sworn that I’d locked Queen’s want for having a baby with Dicette, but it didn’t trigger so she wasn’t getting very happy and she was ageing rapidly.  Somehow I had to get her happy so she could take more elixir.  Anyway, one more kid to come.  Strangely, Queen was sick all the way through this last pregnancy.

And the want to have another kid didn’t show up, dammit!

For some reason I had to quit without saving – something bad happened, I can’t remember.  Maybe it was this: Queen froze.  She stood there, moving on the spot, crossing her arms, etc, but she wouldn’t budge, so she was going into the red zone while all around her were getting very unhappy and neglected.

This must have been after the birth of baby number 6 which was a boy called Oktin.

When I went back, instead of a boy she had another girl called Atten.

She now had her six kids but the oldest had to be a teenager before they could move out so they could help out the poor father in their new home.  This didn’t take long.  The older twins became teens and at the same time Dicette grew to school age.

Overall, Edison hadn’t been much of a father.  He didn’t want to change nappies so the babies were dirty most of the time.  He fed them occasionally or made mac and cheese (cooking skills not up to much).  He wanted to go out on dates.  Haha.  This was one of the few times he interracted with his kids (I didn’t do it).

I’m sure toddler, Kahnz, is rivetted by the teddy talking about industry or pollution.

It was time to move out.  The youngest, Atten, was still a baby but only a day away from toddlerhood.

Time for the next worker bee.

Edison was the next to be seduced.  He agreed to move in.

It didn’t take long for Queen to get pregnant and just to hurry things along she made cheesecake.

Sure enough she got twins – boys.  Treize was black and Fjorten was white.

Edison, meanwhile was looking for a job in the sports career instead of being a gas station attendant.  He wasn’t bringing in much money so nothing extra could be done to the house.

The twins grew to toddlerhood.

Queen soon became pregnant again.  She looked pretty big:

Unfortunately she ate some leftovers which included some cheesecake – so she got another set of twins – boys again: Kahnz and Sez.  Edison went a bit gaga.

Queen had got a nanny in so she could get some sleep.  The nanny was USELESS.  She did nothing but put the kids in and out of the high chair.  She ignored the fact that they were dirty or tired.

After putting Fjorten into the high chair she took him out again just after she put a bowl down, the stupid tart.  But he ate it on the floor, bizarrely.

Treize wasn’t so lucky.

Queen woke up and fired her, fed the kids and put them to bed.

Sixteen kids down.  Only two more with Edison, then it’s on to the next guy.  I’m a quarter of the way there.

It gets to be difficult trying to identify which toddler is which when I go back to posting pics.  Sometimes I’m only making a guess if they look alike.

Octavio and Neuf grew to toddlers and Septima to school-age.

I think this is Neuf.  I don’t appear to have a pic of Octavio although I probably mistook his pic for one of the others.

Another boy was born – Des.

Then another set of twins – two more boys – Elf and Zwolf.

It hasn’t been difficult to get them to do their homework during their school years.  They all seem happy enough.  I was disturbed to see Barnabas Freak visiting one day after school.  I thought I’d killed off all the Freaks.

Dunno who this is with Queen but it looks a bit uncomfortable.

I redesigned a bathroom to include stairs so those damned toddlers don’t keep playing in it and making a constant mess.  The other bathroom which I added towards the end of family one, I’ve made accessible to Queen only.  I might add a closer bathroom to her bedroom and install more steps.

Septima grew to a teen, the older twins and Des to school age and the babies were still babies when David moved out with them all.

The babies grew to toddlers just after they moved into a double-storeyed two-bedroomed house just down the road.

As the kids grow I’ll have to age the older kids in the earlier families.  From family one, Uno dropped out of uni and headed back home.  Douze went to uni.  Troisieme and Vera are still teens and Ceess is now school-age.  It was a strange sight to see visiting Septima, a teen, giving a bath to her older half-sister who was still a toddler.

12 kids down.  48 to go.  Who’s the next father?

Well thankfully I got Queen’s moods up high enough to take more elixir and have more time to woo the next mate.   It seemed at first it might be Edison or Georgio but Queen got closer to David more quickly.  In the interim she earned enough money to afford flooring and wallpaper! 

David got a job in the legal career and has been promoted already AND actually goes to work. 

It wasn’t long before Queen became pregnant and she had a girl, called Septima.  David is an attentive father.

For the next pregnancy I decided to cheat and get Queen to make cheesecake and eat it.  This was a bit of a pain because after she put it in the oven she decided to play with the remote control car and ignore the food in the oven.  Naturally, when I got her to stop playing, the car stopped in front of the oven so she couldn’t get the cheesecake out.  So she went back to playing with it.  After this happened a couple of times and the firemen were called to the resulting fire, I deleted the bloody remote control car.

Septima grew to a toddler.

Unfortunately it looks like all the kids will have Queen’s custom eyes which are a milky brown colour.

The twins were born – two boys – Octavio and Neuf.
