The rest of family number two

It gets to be difficult trying to identify which toddler is which when I go back to posting pics.  Sometimes I’m only making a guess if they look alike.

Octavio and Neuf grew to toddlers and Septima to school-age.

Septima

Neuf

I think this is Neuf.  I don’t appear to have a pic of Octavio although I probably mistook his pic for one of the others.

Another boy was born – Des.

Then another set of twins – two more boys – Elf and Zwolf.

It hasn’t been difficult to get them to do their homework during their school years.  They all seem happy enough.  I was disturbed to see Barnabas Freak visiting one day after school.  I thought I’d killed off all the Freaks.

Freak

Dunno who this is with Queen but it looks a bit uncomfortable.

Glitch

I redesigned a bathroom to include stairs so those damned toddlers don’t keep playing in it and making a constant mess.  The other bathroom which I added towards the end of family one, I’ve made accessible to Queen only.  I might add a closer bathroom to her bedroom and install more steps.

Steps to toilet

Septima grew to a teen, the older twins and Des to school age and the babies were still babies when David moved out with them all.

The babies grew to toddlers just after they moved into a double-storeyed two-bedroomed house just down the road.

Elf

Elf, looking suitably bee-like.

Zwolf

As the kids grow I’ll have to age the older kids in the earlier families.  From family one, Uno dropped out of uni and headed back home.  Douze went to uni.  Troisieme and Vera are still teens and Ceess is now school-age.  It was a strange sight to see visiting Septima, a teen, giving a bath to her older half-sister who was still a toddler.

12 kids down.  48 to go.  Who’s the next father?

Meet the Queen

Queen Bee

This is Queen Bee, the mother of, potentially, 60 children.

She moved onto a fairly large plot of land and I made the house bigger than it needed to be.  This would contribute to the lack of finances.

Queen

As you can see there is no wallpaper or flooring.  Initially there was but they were sold off as her useless partner didn’t earn enough and they struggled.  But before I explain further, meet the workers.

Before I knew the rules of the challenge, which involved the Queen finding townies to move in, I did what the person who told me about the challenge did, and made two households of 5 men each – the proposed fathers of the 60 kids – the Workers.

Household one:

Household 1

From left: Spock, Ricardo, Georgio, David and Hans.

As it happens, Queen first got to know the first guy I made – Mark.

Baby number one was a boy – Uno.  Here he is as a school-age child.

Uno

Mark had a job which paid little – about $123 a day.  This wasn’t enough and he managed to miss going to work twice and was fired.  He then got a job in the police career but again he missed work or made a wrong choice and was fired.  All those days of no income really affected the family.  At one point they had $24 left (before I sold the wall panels etc).  Queen had a job but of course didn’t manage to go to work many times because of her constant pregnancies.  Her lifetime want is to reach the top of the education career but this career hasn’t been advertised in the paper.  To make matters worse, someone kept stealing the newspaper.

The second child, a girl, was called Deux.

The flooring is still intact – but not for long.

A nanny was hired to ease the load.  After setting fire to the oven twice (cooking then leaving it to go to the toilet or somewhere else), she made cheesecake.  By mistake (I hadn’t planned it), Queen ate the cheesecake and subsequently had twins:

Food ran out and often the only amount they could afford was $100 worth – it didn’t last long.  When some money was there, I made a pond so at least they could fish for food.  Mark was useless but Deux caught fish on her first try.  The money tree came in handy for small amounts – every little bit helped.  With the flooring gone, the leaky bathroom was the prime spot for weeds.

Things got a bit chaotic and the adults were too tired to put the twins to bed.

Lazlo Curious was visiting at the time and fed one of the twins but he didn’t put any to bed.  It’s not every day you get to share a weedy bathroom with sleeping toddlers.

The fifth child was another boy – Quin.  At one point there wasn’t enough money to buy an extra cot or beds so they had to take turns in sleeping.  Bit by bit they could afford to add on a small bedroom and squeeze beds in there.

Quin

The last baby was another girl.  By this time Uno and Deux were teenagers and they helped out with the little ones.  Uno got a job after school as well, bringing in much needed cash.

After the sixth baby was born, Mark moved out with all the kids.  I made a mistake by locking in Queen’s want for 10 kids instead of just having a baby so she didn’t reach platinum and I now need to get her wants up so she can drink some more elixir – she’s getting dangerously close to elderhood and has not yet snared another mate.

After Mark moved out and into a proper house with flooring and wallpaper, Uno moved to college and the sixth child, a girl called Ceess, grew into toddlerhood.

Who will be the next father?

Only 54 kids to go…
